What is a Turkey eVisa?

The Turkey eVisa is an online travel permit issued by the Turkish immigration officials to Taiwanese Citizens visiting Turkey.

Validity, Stay Duration and Entry Type of the Turkey eVisa

The Turkey eVisa is a multiple-entry permit allowing a 30-day stay per entry. All Taiwanese passport holders are required to obtain this eVisa. Initially, Turkey offered single-entry e-visas to Taiwanese from 2013 to 2018. However, since 26 October 2019, they’ve been eligible for multiple-entry e-visas, enabling numerous trips within the eVisa’s validity period.

The Turkish e-Visa is valid for 180 days from the date specified in the travel application. Travel dates should be chosen wisely.

Documents required to apply for a Turkish eVisa

For their Turkey eVisa Application, the applicant must have a Taiwanese passport that remains valid for at least six months after arrival in Turkey. For Immigration purposes, the applicant will be required to show sufficient funds, a return ticket, and a hotel reservation.

Points to Note:

• Receive your Turkey eVisa by email

Your eVisa will be linked to your passport. Therefore, you must use the same passport when travelling to Turkey that you used to apply for the eVisa.

If applying on behalf of multiple travellers, there's no need to enter each traveller's phone number or email ID, as the eVisas will be sent to the principal applicant's account. However, all other required details must be provided.
